Packaging design agencies lose clients because of problems at the production stage of the project. Great concepts shown to the client at the outset can turn out dull and uninspiring and the process in between is fraught with unexpected difficulties

The speaker

Barry Jones has worked for over 25 years implementing packaging innovation in retail, manufacturing and design industries. He is Visiting Professor of Packaging Innovation at Sheffield Hallam University and a Fellow of the Institute of Packaging
He has lectured internationally on a wide variety of packaging topics covering design implementation, materials, print and machinery. He founded and ran The Packaging Development Company, developing it into Britain’s leading firm of international packaging technical project managers.
As well as working with a number of leading creative agencies his other clients include Asda, Procter & Gamble Health & Beauty Care and Northern Foods Group.
